Brief Bio

Introduction
Kathleen Boyd is president and founder of Airport Consulting Incorporated – a firm serving the airport industry since 1993, working with public and private sector clients at over 50 airports located in North America. Ms. Boyd works with clients and their consultants to: maximize opportunity in existing operations, secure new opportunities, as well as reposition, downsize or expand market penetration across multiple terminals and/or multiple medium and large hub airports. Work includes facilitating relationships with airlines, developers, retailers and airports to access decision makers, and foster industry-wide partnerships, recognition and awards. Her work has resulted in over 70 contract awards plus multiple industry recognition-awards for clients and their associates.

Kathleen's key strength is her ability to introduce sustainable innovation into the commercial airport space – supported by her relationships with airport sector executives, and her in-depth understanding of the airport environment's ever-changing needs and complex requirements.

Provided business development and asset management services for retail, food/beverage, duty free, hotel, rental car, ground transportation planning, including financial analysis, preparation of RFP/contract documents, conceptual space and mix planning to large and medium hub airports in the United States including Denver International, Philadelphia International, Pittsburgh International, Las Vegas McCarran International, John F. Kennedy International, Newark International, LaGuardia Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Orlando International, among others.

Responsible for development/planning, contract procurement, negotiation and day-to-day administration of concessions including: rental car, retail food/beverage and merchandise, 3rd party developer for f/b at IAH, hotel, duty free, advertising, ATM/banking, parking, currency exchange, telecommunication, ground transportation, FBO, corporate aviation, inflight catering, airline maintenance facility, fuel facility contracts for Houston Intercontinental, W.P.
